Introduction

There has been a deluge of regulation that has recently entered into force, or which will soon enter into force, in the UK and EU which dramatically expands the scope and complexity of cybersecurity compliance and incident reporting.

Among other things, these regulations will necessitate an increasingly aligned and cooperative approach between various business functions.

Ideal for in-house counsel, this new virtual classroom seminar will set out the key changes and how they interact with existing GDPR and e-Privacy obligations. It will also explore some of the organisational impacts and how you can set your organisation up for success.

What You Will Learn

This live and interactive session will cover the following:

  • Break down the ecosystem of cybersecurity regulations currently in place or proposed in the UK and EU including NIS 2, UK NIS, the Cyber Resilience Act, the Cyber Security Act and PSTI
  • The key obligations under these regulations and types of organisations that will be regulated
  • Parallels between ISO27001 and the existing regimes
  • A practical look at the compliance measures that organisations will need to implement to comply with the regulations
  • The key challenges that organisations will face and a plan to tackle them

Recording of live sessions: Soon after the Learn Live session has taken place you will be able to go back and access the recording - should you wish to revisit the material discussed.
