A Guide to Stillbirth Claims - Live at Your Desk
Introduction
In 2020 it is said that there were about 3.33 stillbirths per 1,000 total births. It could be argued that many of these are as a result of preventable issues. It is important that we shine a spotlight on maternity care to ensure families receive a safe service at one of the most vulnerable times of their lives.
This virtual classroom seminar will consider what you should be looking for, how do we identify negligence and how do we bring claims on behalf of the family now that Paul has shut the door on many secondary victim claims. What about an inquest, is that possible and if not, how do we seek communication, openness and transparency from the relevant medical providers? What can we really achieve for our clients?
