Introduction

This virtual classroom seminar provides practitioners with an overview of the process of dealing with both outgoing and incoming orders made in confiscation proceedings: both restraint/freezing-type orders and confiscation orders at the end of proceedings.

Since Brexit, the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement has changed the legal landscape.

The key provisions will be explored in detail to provide both the legal underpinning as well as practical tips in both making and opposing the various applications.

What You Will Learn

This live broadcast will cover the following:

  • Overview of incoming and outgoing external requests and external orders
  • Legislation and TCA underpinning
  • Caselaw
  • Process/procedure
  • Hearings

Recording of live sessions: Soon after the Learn Live session has taken place you will be able to go back and access the recording - should you wish to revisit the material discussed.
