Introduction

It is essential to record HR matters in writing.

This is so that both the employer and the employee have an agreed understanding of what has been said, but also in case the matter ends up in the employment tribunal. Having a clear record of what has been said reduces the necessity of relying on memory.

During this virtual classroom seminar, we look at the different documents that are created when addressing difficult situations with employees and, using a series of case study scenarios, we explore how we can best word those documents.
