Introduction

Interim injunctions are a powerful and versatile litigation tool that can be used from the outset of a property dispute. They can provide applicants with much needed respite prior to a case being finally resolved.

This introductory webinar series will provide practical guidance on the steps required to obtain an interim injunction in a property dispute. It will cover the key legal and procedural points that applicants should be aware of. It will also cover the supporting documents that are required and explain what they should contain and the reasons why. A brief case study based on boundary disputes will be used to illustrate some of the points discussed, and to otherwise bring the topic to life.

This 3-part webinar series is aimed at both property litigators who have no experience of applying for interim injunctions, and more experienced property litigators who would benefit from improving their understanding of interim injunctions. It will assist in bridging the gap between the generic explanations of interim injunctions in various practitioner resources, and how property related interim injunction applications are dealt with by the court in practice.
