Introduction

This webinar will provide an update on mixed use premises in the context of the enfranchisement legislation, both in terms of houses for the purposes of the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 and buildings comprising flats for the purposes of the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.

An overview will also be given of the exclusion of business leases from the leasehold reform legislation.

Additionally, the webinar will consider the relevant changes to the legislation introduced by the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024.
