Negotiating & Revising Commercial Leases in Scotland
Introduction
This course is aimed at solicitors who work on commercial leases as well as for purchasers and lenders of properties that have an income producing lease. It will provide in depth knowledge so as to enable practitioners to advise their clients and to negotiate, revise and agree with confidence transactions involving the grant of commercial leases and loans to be secured over properties that have the benefit of proposed or existing lease documents.
There is a real danger for practitioners in failing to spot and appreciate important issues that can impact significantly on the selling landowner's position or that can adversely affect the developer.
