The Building Safety Act 2022 - Where Are We Now?
Introduction
Now 2 years on from Royal Assent, much of The Building Safety Act is in force and it is challenging to get to grips with, having lots of secondary legislation spin-offs and technical elements. New duties are all now firmly in play and should be on your radar.
In this concentrated 2-hour online Learn Live workshop, you will learn the key topic areas and legal requirements, and how the BSA will impact on existing in-occupation buildings and new-build projects. It will cover all the major topics including Higher-Risk Buildings regime, certification, the ‘golden thread’, the Gateways, the Accountable Person, the role of residents as stakeholders, and the new Regulators. We will also look at status of new competency frameworks and close with key takeaways and priorities.
This Learn Live is suitable for everyone who works in, or advises on, construction projects, or is responsible for risk management and asset management. Those involved in finance/ funding, compliance and insurance would also benefit. Those on the frontline of resident communications and interaction would also find it useful.
