Although most occupational arrangements in the commercial property sector tend to be by way of a commercial lease or a licence, there is certainly a time and a place to utilise a tenancy at will.
Whilst a tenancy at will is commonly used to bridge the gap between existing and negotiated arrangements, leaving one in place for too long can lead to unintended consequences for landlords.
