Simon Adamyk

Simon Adamyk is a practising barrister at New Square Chambers, Lincoln’s Inn. He holds a triple first class degree in law from Cambridge and was awarded the highest mark in the University in each of the three years of his law degree and also a distinction (a 'starred first') in his first year. He also holds a Master’s degree in law from Harvard Law School. He specialises in chancery/commercial law and is an experienced advisor and litigator with an international practice. He has written the first book which deals in detail with assets of community value, /Assets of Community Value - Law and Practice/, which was published in February 2017 by Wildy, Simmonds & Hill Publishing, and has advised in a number of cases involving assets of community value. As well as appearing in courts and tribunals in England and Wales, he has also been called to the Bar of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in the territory of the British Virgin Islands. He has appeared before the High Court of the British Virgin Islands and the Court of Appeal of the Eastern Caribbean, and has attended the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal in The Bahamas, the High Court and Appeal Division in the Isle of Man, and has appeared (twice) before the Privy Council. He is listed as a Leading Junior in Chambers UK, Chambers Global and Legal 500.
