Stephen Cowan

Stephen was Managing Director of Yuill+Kyle debt recovery solicitors in Scotland for many years, with over 30 years’ experience in the sector. A regular contributor to publications such as ‘Credit Today’ and ‘Credit Management’, he has written the section on Scottish litigation in Croner’s ‘Guide to Credit Management’ and Tolley’s ‘Effective Credit Control and Debt Recovery Handbook’. Stephen is also the author of “Scottish Debt Recovery: A Practical Guide”, now in its second edition. He also lectures extensively on Scottish debt recovery law and credit control issues. Stephen tutored to post graduate law students at both Glasgow and Strathclyde universities.
