Poonam Pattni

Chambers of Nicholas Haggan KC, 12CP Barristers, Southampton. Poonam has a busy practice spanning environmental, planning and local government law. She regularly advises local government officers and property developers on environmental issues. She is an experienced advocate and most recently appeared on behalf of a national park authority applying for an urgent injunction in the High Court to prevent irreparable environmental damage. Poonam is particularly adept at dealing with complex and overlapping areas of law and presenting them in an accessible manner. She regularly lectures in the areas above, most recently on environmental prosecutions, prosecuting regulatory offences and Tree Preservation Orders.
