Alex Fox

Partner, Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP. Alex heads up the Business and Finance disputes team at Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP. He advises clients on insolvency and restructuring (both nationally and cross-border). He provides time-critical advice to business, lenders, creditors and IPs with a focus on the technology, real estate and retail sectors. He is the president emeritus of the Insolvency Commission for AIJA (one of the largest global lawyer networks, second only to the IBA). He regularly lectures, is reported in the press and is a contributor to R3’s recovery magazine.

Alex is a speaker at London International Disputes Week. He has presented on insolvency forum shopping. A co-author of the New Law of Insolvency (published by the Law Society), he is a regular speaker on restructuring issues in the UK and overseas. He is known for his plain speaking and resolving through the Court process some of the knottiest insolvency issues.
