Attorneys Behaving Badly - How to Deal with Misuses of Authority
Introduction
Where an attorney misuse their authority, the donor may be reluctant to take steps or may lack capacity to stop the abuse.
The route to resolution can be challenging, as investigations by the Office of the Public Guardian are not always undertaken, the Court of Protection may not always remove the attorney and the police may not always prosecute.
This new virtual classroom seminar is aimed at fee earners who advise on lasting powers of attorney.
