CLC’s Code of Conduct - Putting Rules into Practice
Introduction
The specialist property regulator updates its Risk Agenda every year and conveyancers must know what it says.
Changes to the CLC's Code of Conduct came into effect on 1 January 2025 which place increased importance on knowing your client, high standards of professional conduct and promoting and supporting equality, diversity and inclusion in practice. The previous Overarching Principles have been replaced with six new Ethical Principles which outline the standard of service and practice required of licensed conveyancers.
Do you know what risks to conveyancers the CLC has identified? Do you know how to mitigate these risks? Do you know what the Code of Conduct changes are? Do you know what the Ethical Principles say?
If you are unsure as to any of these issues, then this Learn Live session is for you.
Whether you are a front line licensed conveyancer, working in a CLC regulated firm or run a firm, this Learn Live session will be relevant.
