Introduction

Aspects of landlord and tenant laws are about to change significantly following introduction of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024 on 24 May 2024. Whilst the Act has yet, for the most part, to formally commence, there is a substantial amount in the legislation which residential conveyancers will need to adapt to.

The Act both directly and indirectly affects residential conveyancers. This session takes a detailed look at key features of the Act that will affect residential conveyancers. It will include advice on key documents that conveyancers will need to change to adapt to the Act.
