Introduction

Most legal practices that hold client money will require an annual audit. As reporting accountants, you must ensure your clients have appropriate controls and procedures in place to ensure client money is kept safe.

Aimed at junior reporting accountants, this introductory virtual classroom session with expert speaker Luke Dickinson will explore what the SRA expect you to look for and what controls and procedures should be in place.

Luke will also share his experiences from his years conducting and overseeing SRA Accounts Rules audits.

What You Will Learn

This live and interactive session will cover the following:

  • A summary of the SRA Accounts Rules
  • What are the keystone controls need to be in place for a compliant practice
  • What the SRA are likely to view as an adequate practice
  • What information are you required to retain
  • The key areas of the rules

Recording of live sessions: Soon after the Learn Live session has taken place you will be able to go back and access the recording - should you wish to revisit the material discussed.
