The UK Overseas Funds Regime - What You Need to Know

Introduction

Currently many non-UK investment funds are offered in the UK under the existing Temporary Marketing Permission Regime (‘TMPR’), which allows EEA funds marketed in the UK before 31 December 2020 to access the UK market.

With the TMPR due to cease, the new UK Overseas Fund Regime (‘OFR’) has been introduced to allow certain investment funds domiciled overseas to be sold to UK retail investors.
