Conspiracy & Joint Enterprise - An Introduction for Criminal Lawyers
Introduction
In 2016, the Supreme Court accepted that it took a wrong turn 30 years previous in the case of Jogee. This webinar will refresh your memory as to where we are now with joint enterprise. What has changed, what has remained the same and how best to advise a client are just some of the issues this webinar will deal with.
Often sitting hand in glove with joint enterprise is the law on conspiracy. This common law offence was largely put onto a statutory footing by the Criminal Law Act 1977. It will deal with issues such as who you can and cannot conspire with, and whether you can withdraw from a conspiracy.
This webinar is designed to answer all the questions that arise when dealing with inchoate offences, along with the ones you never knew you had!
