Introduction

This live broadcast session will take a comprehensive look at affordable housing from a number of different perspectives.

The session will begin by asking what constitutes affordable housing and then works through the issues relating to the need to demonstrate evidence of demand, the importance of viability and various considerations concerning delivery and the impact of certain requirements of planning authorities as they apply to the different players who deliver affordable housing.

Some practical questions concerning certain aspects of section 106 agreements as they relate to affordable housing are also dealt with.

The emphasis of this live session will be on practical issues rather than detailed drafting points.
