Social Housing & Tenancy Fraud - How to Recover Possession
Introduction
Tenancy fraud is a huge and expensive issue, especially for social housing providers. It was estimated by the National Fraud Authority in 2012 that tenancy housing fraud costs the public purse £900 million per year, more than 3 times the level of housing benefit fraud.
In this webinar we will concentrate on the Prevention of Social Housing Fraud Act 2013, introduced to assist social housing providers to clamp down on social housing fraud and in particular the unlawful subletting of social housing.
The webinar will explore the means by which to recover possession of a property where tenancy fraud has taken place.
If you work in social housing or provide legal advice, this session is for you.
